For complete information regarding tree removal and pruning restrictions, to obtain detailed permit information or view the official bylaws and policies, please visit the appropriate municipal website.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 40%; padding: 0 10pt 0 0; float: left;\">\n<h4><strong>District of North Vancouver<\/strong><\/h4>\n<h5><strong>Permit required for private property if:<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Tree is greater than 75cm diameter measured at 1.3 meters above ground level<\/li>\n<li>Tree is within 15m of the top of bank of a stream<\/li>\n<li>Tree is within 30m of the top of bank of a stream for properties greater than 0.5 ha<\/li>\n<li>Tree is within 10 metres of the top of bank of a ravine more than 60 metres wide<\/li>\n<li>Tree is on a slope greater than 30% (16.5 degrees)<\/li>\n<li>Tree is a Pacific Yew, Arbutus, Gary Oak, Oregon Ash, Western White Pine or Yellow-cedar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If any of the above conditions apply, the first step is to submit an arborist report to the District.
